What is a chapbook? It is a “self” published book (not by a publishing company or a small press) of poems, essays, short stories, and vignettes written by local and regional writers. Nowadays, publishing your own book has come a long way. There are many digital publishing companies, as well as micro publishers that print the traditional chapbook style (small 8” X 5.5” with a stitch binding) as well.
